Directional Ideation
Each student chose an animal to translate into a simplified form. The animal had to identifiable through its figure, as well as communicate some of its typical personality traits.

Fennec Fox
The features chosen to show with the fennec fox were its large ears, eyes, and tail as well as its small nose.
The personality characteristics that were focused on was curiosity ans skittishness.

Final MArk
Continuation into poetry Scene
From here the class got a poetic phrase that described their creature. From this, a scene was created to connect the poem to the animal.
Final Scene
The scene was meant to represent a desert scene with rolling dunes. The curves are matched to the curves of the creature mark. The sun is shown at the top of the frame and the disappearing circles at the bottom represent its burrow.
